Electrical Service Technician

Waalwijk + project locations | Full-time | Mechanical Engineering

You solve technical problems that really matter.
You work on industrial harbour cranes up to 45 metres high. No two days are the same. One day you solve a breakdown at a container terminal in Rotterdam, the next day you modernise a control system at a customer site in Brabant. You make sure critical installations keep running when customers fully depend on them.

What will you do?

As an Electrical Service Technician at NEDCRANES, you are responsible for the electrical systems of industrial cranes. You work on control systems, solve technical breakdowns and make sure cranes continue operating safely and reliably. You combine engineering with hands-on technical work, both from our headquarters in Waalwijk and at customer locations across the Netherlands.

Your work includes:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting PLC control systems, including Siemens S7, TIA Portal and Schneider Electric systems
  • Selecting and engineering hardware and software for crane control systems
  • Solving technical breakdowns, sometimes under time pressure, because our customers depend on continuous operation
  • Supporting the commissioning of new and modernised cranes
  • Performing inspections, technical checks and service reports
  • Setting up and maintaining remote monitoring systems for cranes and industrial machines
  • Supporting crane modernisation and new-build projects

You work independently as well as together with your team. No fixed workplace, but also no anonymous company. At NEDCRANES, everyone knows each other.
